Do distributors lodge supplier complaints too much? Perhaps. But, in some cases, their grievances
have merit. Take the distributor (who asked to remain anonymous) who ordered a self-promotion item from a supplier he'd never worked with before. The proof looked fine, but the type on
the finished product was illegible. When the distributor complained, he says, the supplier was nonresponsive, refused to correct the mistake and all but told the distributor to take his business
elsewhere. So he did.
